Remote Learning

3 May 2021

Many thanks to all of you who signed up to our virtual learning platform during last term’s lockdown. In total, 94% of our school community registered with Dojo, including parents and carers of children who were eligible to attend school.

Your thoughts and feedback have been gathered, so that we may reflect upon the provision provided. It has enabled us to identify areas for improvement whilst allowing us to celebrate aspects that worked well.

In total 55 surveys were completed, from across all year group bubbles. This accounts for 69% of those accessing our remote education provision.

I want to say a BIG thank you to the teacher for all her efforts. Thanks a lot. Really appreciate.

I think you’re doing a great job. The work is the perfect amount and fun for the kids. My child loved the zoom story today and seeing her friends.

Thank you!

Just wanna say a big thank you for your hard work and commitment, and I would ask if possible that they can have a lesson on zoom. I think they will be more motivated and have school routine.

My child has struggled to do home learning but does his best. You are doing a great job!

Thanks for working hard with our children.

Finding it difficult to engage my child into wanting to learn and do the work at home but she loves watching the videos of you teaching lessons.

Perfect for stories but no matter what I do, I cannot get my volume.

Thank you, your support to my child has been great. My child has really been enjoying their lessons. Thank you again.

Really thankful for the hard work. A little too much for my child…but I can see that he is trying.

Thank you!

My child is struggling with the maths. She doesn’t seem to grasp it. I have to give her lots of support to get an answer at all.

The videos are very clear and understandable. Thank you very much.

Thank you for all your hard work.

My child is finding it hard to concentrate at home but is trying their best and we are trying different ways to help.

You are doing a fab job!

My child is not concentrating but I am doing my best to keep them up to date.

More live sessions, such as phonics.

I am very happy with the work my child receives. We appreciate the teacher’s hard efforts in keeping my child educated.

My child takes a while to fully understand the tasks. In our opinion we think it’s enough. Our child thinks it’s too much!

Test in English and Maths every week, so that teachers and parents know how much they have learnt and remembered.
